More Spring Cleaning & Moldy Old French Dudes
Last night after work, instead of sitting in front of the television and gorging myself on pizza or chicken; I did something productive. Some more Spring cleaning. (On a side note: what the eff is wrong with me? Spring cleaning instead of TV and food?) I found some more of my Sega Genesis stuff. Then I found my Holy Grail, the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Who’s up for some Duck Hunt?
There are still some things missing though. I can’t find Sonic the Hedgehog or Super Mario Bros. 2. I wonder where I left them. Hmmm…
Later in the evening I took my Mother furniture shopping. I took her into Woodbridge. There’s plenty of furniture stores around there. But my Mother is looking for nesting tables. Not that I keep up with contemporary furniture styles, but when was the last time you saw some new nesting tables? No store we checked out had more than three sets of nesting tables.

I couldn’t sleep well last night. 3 o’clock in the morning and I was just lying in bed staring at the ceiling. What else is new. I got up, made myself a sandwich and threw on a DVD.
So, there I am, 3:30 in the morning, lying down on a couch watching Christianity: the First Thousand Years on DVD. I slowly fade into a half-sleep stuppor.
“Oh hey Mom. Who’s that fella you’re having breakfast with?”
“This gentleman is Charlemagne.”
I don’t know what’s worse: not sleeping; or getting a little bit of sleep then having the sleep interrupted by dreams of Charlemagne.

Duck Hunt - I forgot about one of the best games ever invented & I don’t hunt a damn thing in real life.

Do you have Tecmo Bowl?
Breakfast with Charlemagne sounds like a good title for a bad movie.

You went furniture shopping but you didn’t watch the Raptors game?

BDS - Don’t need to hunt if you got the NES Zapper, am I right?
Wiwille - I’m Canadian. I don’t get your American football with its 100 yards and 4 downs.
Miss Ash - the sole reason I got the system was for the Legend of Zelda with the shiny fake gold cartridge. Nesting tables are those tiny trio of tables, all the same design but each table is small enough to fit underneath the other.
Bob - You watched the Raptors game and didn’t go furniture shopping?

actually I didn’t watch all of the game… but that is another story!

What’s a nesting table? I don’t know the actual names of the different tables–well except for dining table, coffee table and end table. Oh, maybe I do know more than I thought.

What is up with three o’clock in the morning anyways? I woke up then too. They say that people reach their blah moments at 3::00 in the afternoon (when you feel tired) and three in the morning (when you don’t feel tired). It’s messed.
