Going to go check out the reasons.
Last night I heard the song “If You Wanna Be Happy for the Rest of Your Life, Never Make a Pretty Woman Your Wife…So from My Personal Point Of View, Get An Ugly Girl To Marry You”. (Didn’t know the actual title, I’m sure it’s in there somewhere.

I think that’s Jimmy Soul’s If You Wanna Be Happy

  • Jillian // March 14, 2008 at 12:37 pm

    LOL. That’s a great post.

An interesting list! I read both that and the geek one….I went on a date recentlyish with a geek and it’s interesting. This guy was supposed to be one of the “nice”guys…hmmmm

    Jillian - that’s why I’m sharing it.

Miss Ash - I’d think there is twokinds of geeks in terms of dating them. #1. Because a geek dates so infrequently, he’s very grateful to be on a date and makes every effort (if not too much effrot) to please the woman and does nothing to upset her. That’s the doormat geek. Then there’s #2. A geek is so bitter because of years of rejection, indifference and solitude from women, that he becomes quite an ass and looks down upon women. Almost as though they are some subspecies from one of his geek science fiction comic books. A species that deserves no better than living in the sewers with the freaks and mutated weirdos.

Doormat geek is unattractive. I like a little arrogance.

  • whatigotsofar // March 14, 2008 at 3:32 pm

verybadcat - but asshole geek repels women faster than doormat geek, thus proving women don’t like geeks. Lucky for me, I’m no geek. I’m just a regular asshole.

Those are all very good reasons…you can probably find a voluptuous girl at Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers.

  • whatigotsofar // March 14, 2008 at 6:19 pm

But women at those places are looking to better themselves. How is dating me going to better anybody?

  • wiwille // March 14, 2008 at 6:27 pm

I should start hanging around Lane Bryant for the ladies.

  • HEFF // March 14, 2008 at 9:53 pm

I didn’t even bother to read the link. “Voluptuous” KICKS ASS, fat is another story. Overall, Viva le curves !

  • Andrea // March 14, 2008 at 11:54 pm

Geeks are amazing, especially intelligent, sorta awkward ones, which is basically all of them minus the bitter geeks.

  • bluewaveted // March 15, 2008 at 2:38 am

LOL. Thanks for drpping by. Im glad somebody else shares my sentiments and is vocal about it. I was a little scared all I would get was a mean female bashing! Cheers!

  • whatigotsofar // March 15, 2008 at 4:28 am

wiwille - I had to google ‘Lane Bryant’ for your statement to make any sense

Heff - I’ve always said that 5 pounds over is better than 5 pounds under. There is that point where too fat is just not right.

Andrea - you’re either lying or just a really rare breed.

bluewaveted - for what you wrote, you shouldn’t get bashings. Volup. women will be grateful for being written of in a positive manner while really skinny women won’t read the blog to begin with, they’re too busy not eating. And thank you for stopping by.

  • Claire // March 15, 2008 at 8:43 am

Thanks for the linkiness! Some interesting points!

    Cxx

  • Andrea // March 15, 2008 at 12:49 pm

No lies. Geeks are really interesting people too.

  • Shae // March 16, 2008 at 8:13 am

I always enjoy coming here because you always find the niftiest links or just the fun rants you have from previous post makes me giggle. Have a great rest of the weekend! :D

  • JLee // March 16, 2008 at 3:23 pm

He forgot to mention the warmth factor. It is a necessity up in Canada I suppose…

  • whatigotsofar // March 16, 2008 at 7:18 pm

Claire - love that word ‘linkiness.’ I’m gonna borrow that.

Andrea - yeah, interesting in that “lets just be friends” sorta way. I’ve heard it all before.

Shae - glad you like it

    JLee - Good point.
