No, I bought it without a radio to save me some $$$ at the time (and spare me the crappy manufacturer’s stock model). I threw in a nice Alpine afterwards.

I’ve only really drove 2 cars in my day. A 1995 Ford Ranger. Good ‘lil truck, never did me wrong, but my brother smashed it, so..
My current car, 1998 Dodge Neon.. it lasted me 4 years, so I can’t complain, of course it’s been a pain in the ass lately, yet I have a soluation to that. This Saturday I will be the proud new owner of a brand newish 2002 Honda Civic! YEPPIEEEE!

We had a Volvo and it was a great car…until it got totaled! I think my worse car was a Dodge Neon. I don’t really know why, it was my only American car though.

Josh – thanks for stopping by.

BDS – bad mouthing the Taurus. I hope Bob doesn’t read that. He loves him a Taurus. And the Odyssey is a minivan. Nuff said.

Miss Ash – in defense of the Hummer, it is at least an appropriately named car.

Heff – I’m not getting rid of the one I got now anytime soon. Gonna dry that thing into the dust.

Wiwille – VWs are more trouble than they’re worth. Sure they’re cool and trendy and hip and all, but is so Paris Hilton.

Mattbear – Yes, my mother ditched her Volvo at the first sign of falling apart. That and a flooding incident caused a nasty odour in the car she couldn’t get rid of.

Spark – Hummers are for people who are assholes and were advertised as such. I read an article in some advertising trade publication about how GM was directing its Hummer adverts towards assholes.

Dave – unless you put a radio in that thing, it’s automatically the worst car ever. No music, no car. That’s my rule.

I used to work at a car lot so I got to drive plenty.

The Lexus GS400 was amazing. I floored it and my gut sank into the seat. I also drove an IS300 which was also pretty quick.

The best car driving car I’ve owned, however, goes to my 1991 Nissan Sentra E (base) model. Roll-up windows, no radio, $8500 new. It was a nimble little 4-speed that held up for over 10 years and 120k miles.

My wife and I later owned 2002 and 2003 SE-R models which were nice, but there’s still a place in my heart for the ol’ 110-hp econobox. I want to get my hands on a Tsuru before they stop making them…

I briefly knew a woman who drove a Hummer. She was a beast, just like her car. I have never, outside of interactions with angry clients at work, been yelled at like she yelled at me, in my adult life. Later I heard her talking about how she can’t see anything from her car, so she just signals, changes lanes, and expects everyone to get out of her way. Her words were “My blind spots are your problem.”
Maybe I should have killed her while I had the chance, to spare the innnocent lives of people who have to share the road with her.

I used to have a ‘96 Volvo 850 Wagon. It obviously wasn’t as fast as the R, but it was very, very comfy. However, when those things about 10 years or 125K miles, they just start falling apart.

My favorite vehicle was a 96 Chevy truck. I loved that thing. Although it was a gas guzzler it was reliable and sturdy and would’ve lasted forever. Sadly I traded it in for a VW GTI 02 to get better gas mileage, and that resulted in the worst car I’ve ever had.
