I’m the typical Italian-Canadian. No matter how hard I try to fight it, I can’t avoid it. It is what I am.
I lived my whole life in the suburban reaches of the Greater Toronto Area. As the urbanity of Toronto spread north, I have retreated northward in kind, as is the way of my people. Currently, I reside in one of the secluded valleys that dot the Oak Ridges Moraine.
I’m college educated, however I have not put my education to any practical use. I work in an industry that has very little to do with my field of study.
By reading through this blog, it is obvious that I am very passionate and opinionated. Especially in regards to music and its muse, love. I also enjoy any sort of debate on topics ranging from politics to sports and entertainment.
My political views are sometimes very old-fashioned (Oh, the Lord loves a hangin’, that’s why he gave us necks!) and other times moderate and socialist. I like to think that my beliefs are based on logic and the democratically-appointed power of the majority. But, I am not opposed to thinking that there is a massive conspiracy of a select few that binds all of the world together.
So, sit down, stay awhile. I encourage participation and, to a certain degree, free speech. Let your hair down, open your mind to intelligent thought.
